MEI is an organization of belting specialists dedicated to working with you from initial design concept through volume production.

Our background includes the first manufacture of precision slit tubular woven endless belts in 1956, G. Walters patent #2,672,163, as well as today's concept know-how exampled by H.G. Walters patent #4,150,581. Products spawned by these patents are world standards.

Versatile single and multiple ply belt constructions are available. Design advantages include: outstanding flex-life, operational smoothness, and precise tracking. MEI's semi-elastic types eliminate idler and tensioning pulleys. Typical power transmission and conveying applications include sensitive recording devices, transports for data processing equipment, and varied paper and package handling mechanisms.
